I bought Terran Conflict a fortnight ago and have really been enjoying it for the reasons below:Ģ) A 'My Missions' section that keeps track of all your currrent missions as well as giving you visual guidance to the objectives (no more reading through your messages only to find out that you've deleted the information)ģ) Communications range increased to 25KM (no more having to get into weapons range of people to apologise for shooting them)Ĥ) No longer having to dock to see what missions are available - simply get within communications range and talkĥ) Increased frequency of missions - Whereas in Reunion you would seem to search for hours to find the mission you wanted, it is now the other way round. Didn't have the heart to start over from the beginning.

I gave up on Reunion after my saved games got corrupted for no reason (lost an empire of 30 UTs ). Though, the thing that attracts me the most is that it's faster to make cash in TC compared to Reunion. Well, the reasons not to get TC just keep getting bigger and bigger. The problem is that the ships are so beat up that it takes them too long to make the return journey, so as they approach the station, time runs out. They sound easy: you fly to the abandoned ship, claim it, and have it fly back to the owner's station. The most insidious ones are the "Return my abandoned ship" missions. The problem is that you can't actually do most of them in the beginning, yet you don't know enough details to avoid them. There are lots and lots of missions, which seems like it should be good. It seems in X3:TC there are way to many ways to screw yourself permanently. You can, you don't have to, race through Space with Continuous Fire.I just got X3:TC and have put in about 10 hours or so. Although struggle is an Element, it is not like today, the Main Source of Motivation. It sit not a 2000s house-on The game, but rather a real Simulation (at least a serious Attempt).

Once you've built a Factory, made it run and Activated some Taxis and long-distance Retailers, it almost runs by itself. You can guess the Manual, but it's more Fun with the Try by Error. Be it as a Merchant, Freelancer, pirate, Or Patriot of the Argon military. In Addition, you don't even need to start with something smaller than a NOVA with Energy Plasmawers (is really only etrwas for Cracks).īut after the 2nd Story mission, one should have acquired enough Funds (Imaginative handling of the Cargo hold is required) to start making money and create one's empire. It may take some time to grasp the Game principle. The Graphics may have aged, but still the Best in Sci Fi sector and most importantly, you don't Feel like having a Mini Graphic For Smartphones. Have played it, play it, and will always Play it.

  • Explore: You can explore over 130 beautifully designed sectors occupied by nebulas that affect your ships and stations, asteroids you can mine for materials you can later sell on for profit.
  • The updated graphics engine gives the universe a fresher feel with newly designed ships and stations adding to the complexity of the universe. X²: The Threat is of a new generation of space simulator games, you play the role of Julian Gardna who continues the story set by X: Beyond The Frontier.
